16 year old hedgehog found in Denmark

‘Thorvald’ is the name of the oldest found hedgehog in the world. Researchers of the Danish Hedgehog Project researched over 700 hedgehogs in a bid to research European hedgehogs. Under the dead hedgehogs also were a 13 year old hedgehog and an 11 year old hedgehog, but Thorvald was the extraordinary old hedgehog that broke the old record by 7 years! The record prior to him, was that of a 9 year old hedgehog.
