Courses

The Hedgehog Program will be developing a collection of online courses that will be available through Open Learning. All courses will be in English and are on a low level of understanding, so even a beginner will have no problem reading through the material offered. The courses will vary in categories, prices and levels: beginner, intermediate and avanced. Courses can be complted on your own pace and at any time!

Hedgehog genetics

The genetics on hedgehogs has never been a great deal in breeding the species as pets, but that is slowly changing. Genetics can be a difficult matter to understand. This course will explain the very basics, but will become a bit more difficult after the first two chapters. If you have basic knowledge on genetics, you will be able to skip the first chapter which is made for the very beginners and will explain what genetics is and what it is used for in breeding.

This course is still in the making and will be available at the end of 2020.
